Cleaner

Purpose of the job: 

To maintain a healthy, attractive, and appealing environment by properly cleaning and maintaining the hygiene of the institution's work offices, restrooms, meeting halls, dining areas, storage rooms, corridors, and other floors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans offices, meeting halls, restrooms, floors, ceilings, corridors, walls, and mirrors according to established cleaning standards.
• Dusts and wipes down computers, printers, desks, chairs, and shelves in work areas, and collects scattered papers, placing them in a clear and visible location.
• Dusts and cleans stored items and shelves in the institution's property section, and collects and disposes of scattered or waste materials.
• Reports malfunctioning hand basins and drainage systems in restrooms to the appropriate department for timely repair.
• Requests necessary cleaning equipment, supplies, and coffee/tea service materials in a timely manner, and utilizes them for their intended purpose upon supply.
• Handles cleaning equipment, tools, and work attire with care and hygiene, using them strictly for the commission's intended purpose.
• Prepares coffee and tea for the commission's staff and guests, and maintains the cleanliness of service utensils and kitchen/preparation areas.
• Delivers messages, documents, letters, and various information to different work units/offices.
• Collects and properly disposes of waste materials.
• Waters indoor plants located in various offices and corridors at appropriate times.
