About Talent Management and HR Services

Purpose of the Job:

To support the Talent Acquisition and HR Service operation on day to day operation including recruitment, on boarding, learning, and development activities of EHRC. 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to maintain employee personnel file and other relevant documentation for Head Office. 
  • Record new employee’s data on HRIS and IFMIS.
  • Responsible to facilitate procurement needs of the function and requesting items from store. 
  • Support in explaining EHRC’s personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to HO based employees and job applicants. 
  • Support in review of employment applications and evaluating qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Support in preparation and advertising vacancies using appropriate channel including internal posting.
  • Inform job applicants about the recruitment process, their acceptance or rejection of employment and expected certification during the recruitment.   
  • Assist in writing and distributing appointment letters, employment contracts and other HR related letters. 
  • Support in scheduling interviews, arranging interview venues and coordinating exams.
  • Support in following up background and reference checks.
  • Provide technical support to staff in head office and city offices in using the HRIS
  • Record training and development related data on HRIS
  • Update the data on HRIS Periodically and ensure data quality
  • Support in gathering and analysing employee’s data related to performance and talent development.
  • Assist in Organizing induction and training programs
  • Prepare identification cards to employees.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisor 

 

Qualification and Experience: 

 

  
Education  BA Degree or Level IV Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
Experience

2 years of relevant experience with BA degree.

4 years of relevant experience with diploma

Knowledge of HRIMS system is a plus

Other Requirements

Computer literate. 

Knowledge of Amharic is required.

Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous.
